Greenlee Pipe Cutters 864 Editorial Review
The Greenlee Cutter, PAC 864 is highly praised for its durability and ability to make clean cuts. Customers have reported using this tool to make thousands of cuts in PVC pipes and have found that the blades still remain sharp and in good condition. The cutter is particularly effective in cutting CPVC without crushing the tube, unlike other cutters. However, there have been some negative experiences with the product. One customer mentioned that the blade tip chipped off twice when cutting 1" schedule 40 PVC, which was disappointing. Another customer compared the quality of this cutter to the original Greenlee PVC cutter and found it to be of poor quality, leading them to return it. Additionally, another customer was disappointed by the price of the replacement blades, which were only $5 cheaper than the complete tool. Overall, the Greenlee Cutter, PAC 864 is Considered to be the best among other PVC pipe cutters in terms of cutting accuracy and leaving a square cut. However, there are concerns about the durability of the blades and the high cost of replacement blades.
