Product Details
- PDC004 uses a hardware PD identification chip, whose identification logic is: decoy triggers a fixed voltage will be applied for the next gear.
- For example: for a 15V product pdc004, if your PD power supply is only 12V at most, or if there is no 15V, the next level is 12V, then the decoy will apply for the next level 12V, PD decoy has a strict communication format. It will not decoy higher voltage, and will not increase or decrease the voltage output if there is no voltage. It has no ability to change the power, voltage and current of the power supply.
- The module just performs the PD negotiation and passes the output. Power an electronic project or convert old hardware to use USB-C power input. Other gears other than fixed voltage are not supported, such as PPS gear.
- Attention: In order to use it over 3A you need to use an electronically marked Type-C cable. A real USB PD power source is required, will not work with QC-only chargers.
- Applications: PDC004 can make all kinds of self-made PD decoy lines. (Risk tip: please pay attention to whether the voltage of the electric equipment is the same as the decoy voltage and whether the positive and negative poles are correct.); PDC004 can add PD power supply function for various devices. PDC004 supports 5A eMarker wire for high power output.
