Kelty Tents 90821322GPL Editorial Review
The Kelty Timeout 6 Person Tent has garnered a mixed reception among outdoor enthusiasts, with experiences ranging from joy to disappointment. Several users praised its spaciousness and ease of setup, making it an appealing choice for families who enjoy car camping. The tent's affordability and overall quality for the price reportedly deliver good value, particularly for those camping with children who seem to enjoy the setup. However, significant dissatisfaction arose from multiple customers regarding durability issues. Some users encountered serious problems shortly after purchase, such as grommets failing and zippers malfunctioning. Specific reports indicated a leaking floor and missing components, leading to frustration and the sentiment that the Kelty brand did not meet the high standards set by its well-regarded backpacks. Some reviewers recommended alternatives like the Coleman Sundome, suggesting they offered better reliability and value for a similar price point. In summary, while the Kelty Timeout 6 Person Tent may be attractive for its initial affordability and space, Prospective buyers should be cognizant of potential durability issues that could detract from long-term satisfaction. **
