Answer: Absolutely! You can easily switch between your tripod and Cotton Carrier Camera Vest using this adapter plate. -

Does this plate block the battery door for the Canon RP?
Answer: I am using Nikon D7200's and I can tell you that they battery door is not blocked on those. I do believe these were all designed to accommodate the battery access. The plate assembly has some side to side play in the final position on the bottom of the camera. -
Question:
Would this work with a peak design capture camera clip v3 mounting plate also?
Answer: No, the Peak Design clip will not work with Cotton Carrier. Cotton Carrier is so much better than the Peak Design version...IMHO. -

Is this the new design or the old?
Answer: Not sure what the difference is between new and old, but I just checked the Cotton Carrier site and this is exactly the same as what is currently shown for sale by them. -

Will this also work to mount the CC bino harness to a tripod?
Answer: Don't know about the CC Bino Harness. -
Question:
Will the plate block the battery compartment on the Nikon D850?
Answer: The battery should be accessible. I'm just using the D7200 but the plate does go from the center off to the opposite side of the battery compartment on mine. -
Question:
Does this work with Falcam F38 quick attach system?
Answer: Yes, that will work with a Falcam F38, they are Arca-Swiss in style. -
Question:
Will this block any lid or compartment on the Nikon D7100?
Answer: It won't block the battery door. -
Question:
Does this work with the Sony a7r IV without it blocking the battery door?
Answer: I don't know about Sony, but it does not block access to the battery or SD card in my Canon mirrorless. -
Question:
Does this attach directly to the cotton carrier? i tried an did did not fit. or do i need an attachment? thx.
Answer: Use the screw to attach it to the bottom of your camera. Then slide the round part into the grooves on the Cotton Carrier Vest.
