The Juki TL Series Standard Hinged Quarter Inch Presser foot is a great tool for piecing quilt tops. It creates a perfect 1/4" seam allowance and can be used with or without a seam guide of your choosing. While it is designed to fit Juki TL series machines perfectly, it should also fit many other high shank machines. This foot is for straight stitch only machines, therefore the needle does not move side to side. It sews a true 1/4" seam allowance. Customer Experience: - A customer was satisfied as they needed an exact 1/4" foot and found the Juki foot to be perfect. - Another customer stated that the foot works perfect for their piecing needs. - A customer stated that the cheaper version of this foot has a rod in the hinge that keeps coming out. They opted to buy the more expensive Juki foot as it won't come apart. - A customer mentioned that the foot creates a true 1/4" seam allowance and is not suitable for those who prefer a scant 1/4" quilting seam.
