The inside diameter of the plate is around 7 ¼ inches wide and about 2 ½ inches deep, and the total bowl height is 3 ¼ inches without the lid. The total height reaches around 4 7/8 inches with the lid on. Although you can stack them up a bit, they don't nest completely. However, the dish isn't suitable for stovetop usage or storage in an Instant Pot. It does a great job of holding 2 pounds of cooked meat. The manufacturer recommends the oven for this dish. The Corningware French White III Mini Pie Plate is a durable dish available at a reasonable price. It comes in a set of four but needs to be purchased separately from the item that costs around $19.
