My current on/off switch has 3 wires, one of which is a ground wire. where do i connect the ground wire on this timer switch?
Answer: You don't connect any wires. The timer switch is wireless and uses a small thumb battery for power. If there is a wired version, I did not buy it or use it. -
Question:
My fireplace has ganged paddle wall switches:1-ignition and 1-blower fan. Will this unit fit in my current j-box using my same 2-hole switch plate?
Answer: This may not be the correct product for your application. It is not line voltage rated and it is sized to fit in a single gang J box. -
Question:
Where can i find replacement logs?
Answer: Usually, you can get them from the manufacturer. If you can find a part # in the manual you may be able to find some here. -
Question:
Does the wireless skytech tm-r-2a come with the receiver?
Answer: The timer switch does not need a receiver. It is built into the switch and the unit is hard-wired into your device. Mine is wired into a gas fireplace. -
Question:
Off-topic, but relevant: will this control work for a heat recovery ventilator that utilizes low-voltage controls? thanks
Answer: It will work on a millivolt gas valve system only.
