However, there are a few new mechanics in Greek Monsters, such as monster types for activation and lairs, adding a slightly increased level of complexity and difficulty. These symbols are used to represent events and movements of the monsters, similar to the previous versions. Additionally, there are lairs that need to be found by spending an action to reveal them.
