Its size seems to be a problem for some pet owners, especially those with larger turtles, as it can be a tight fit or not tall enough to be an extra basking spot. Some customers had to prop it up on two stones as it doesn't sink, and the holes are not big enough for box turtles to fit underneath. Additionally, the quality is questionable as many customers received the product with noticeable chunks broken off, and some had paint peeling off after a short time. Finally, some customers experienced the platform leeching dyes into the water, which is completely unacceptable.
