Dorman Tow Straps 60213 Editorial Review
The Dorman 60213 15 In. Universal Ground Strap is a versatile and reliable product for grounding various items. The length of the cable is indeed 15 inches, despite the package stating 5.5 inches. The crimp connectors have a stud size of 3/8 inch, making them compatible with most applications. Customers have reported that this ground strap works well for a variety of purposes. One customer mentioned that they successfully used it on a 99 Jeep Cherokee Sport, although they had to open a hole on one end. The strap itself is believed to be made of aluminum, while the connectors are described as being made of sheet metal. This combination of materials ensures durability and reliability. The Dorman 60213 ground strap can be used in different settings, including a GMC pickup and as a grounding braid between an exhaust manifold and chassis. However, it may not be suitable for all applications. One user noted that the larger ring had an internal diameter of 7/16 inch, which was too small for their SO-239 antenna connection. This customer plans to find a different grounding strap for that particular use. Overall, the Dorman 60213 15 In. Universal Ground Strap is praised for its quality and reliability. It is a solidly made product that is suitable for various grounding needs. While it may not be perfect for all applications, it is a versatile option that receives positive reviews from customers.
