Berkley Soft Lures Editorial Review
The Berkley Gulp! Alive! Shrimp is a popular choice for flounder fishing, as it has been observed to trigger strikes from larger fluke better than the more commonly used gulp mullets. However, it requires a different working technique, more similar to that of a jerkbait. Despite being effective, the baits are not truly reusable, as they often get bitten in half by fish, making it an expensive option. While they work well for targeted fish like flounder, trout, or puppy drum, they tend to get destroyed easily by smaller or toothy fish. The product has also faced criticism for not matching the advertised image and for not being delivered on time. Pros and Cons:
