- WHAT TO EXPECT ON FIRST USE (not defects) Machine may arrive with light grounds inside — every unit is bench-tested with coffee before shipment to confirm full functionality. Trace grounds in the hopper/brew group are normal. First cups will look “off” — early shots may be watery and pucks “soupy” while the machine learns your beans and settings. Needs ~15–20 drink cycles to calibrate — choose any drink; low-pressure drinks (Americano/Café Crema) will always leave wetter pucks. Automatic rinsing is expected — water from the spout after drinks and water in the drip tray are part of normal auto-rinse (not leaks). Rinsing also happens at power ON/OFF and after milk use. Bean choice matters — avoid very dark/oily roasts; they clog super-automatic grinders. Use medium/light, dry beans for best reliability.
