It is important to note that this swab will not work for a bari sax, as Hodge sells a bari sax swab that has a much larger swab as well as a longer cord. Additionally, while it can be used on the mouthpiece and neck, it is recommended to use a smaller silk swab for those areas. The washing instructions are easy, as it only needs to be soaked in cold water with a drop or two of dishwashing liquid, then rinsed and hung to dry. it shouldn't get stuck in the neck of the instrument, but there are separate swabs for soprano saxophones.
