Answer: Absolutely! Works well with guitar and bass. -

Answer: Never used it on that but sounds interesting to try. I like it pretty good but use it with other pedals to beef it up. -

Answer: It does have a hum most compressor pedals do .. even the boss compressor makes a hum ... The only time it really hums is when it's cranked .. I only use it for the guitar around 1:3 and it's fine ... The drive feature is good too ... I don't use mine often but it is a good compressor -

Does it have a battery compartment? If so, can the battery be changed without needing a screwdriver?
Answer: This pedal does not take batteries. Power supply only.
