Laney Footswitches & Controllers Editorial Review
The Laney Amplifier Footswitch, Black FS2-MINI has received a mix of reviews from customers. Some users were extremely satisfied with its performance, expressing that it controls their amplifier exactly as it should and allows for independent and combined operation of boost and reverb functions. They appreciated the build quality, responsive buttons, and the long, good quality cable it comes with. However, there were concerns about the requirement of an AC adapter to power the status lights, with one customer expressing dissatisfaction and deeming it unnecessary and a waste of electricity. The switch was also reported to have compatibility issues with specific amplifier models, with one user encountering a problem where the channel switch functioned oppositely for their Laney LC 30 combo. However, for another user, it worked seamlessly with their Bluguitar Amp1 Mercury Edition without the need for a separate power connection. Overall, the Laney Amplifier Footswitch, Black FS2-MINI has been favored for its build quality and functionality, but some customers have raised concerns about the need for a separate power supply and compatibility issues with certain amplifier models.
