Fishman Pickups & Pickup Covers Editorial Review
The Fishman Blackstack Passive Soundhole Pickup has received rave reviews from customers, with many Considering it the best pickup they have ever used. It is praised for its exceptional sound quality, producing a natural and full tone. Users have noted that it is super quiet when not in use, but loud and clear when playing. The pickup does not pick up the sound of the pick on the strings, which sets it apart from other pickups. Customers have mentioned that it is easy to install, with a simple screw, plug, and play setup. It does not require batteries, which is a plus. While some users have mentioned that it does not come with a volume control, they note that the volume can be controlled through the amp. The pickup is versatile and can be used with a 12-string acoustic guitar. However, some users have mentioned that the sound quality may vary depending on personal preference and the type of music being played. It is recommended to use a good preamp and/or EQ to get the best sound quality. Overall, customers are highly satisfied with the Fishman Blackstack Passive Soundhole Pickup. It is Considered a worthwhile investment, despite the higher price point. The pickup is durable and built to last, and the packaging is noted to be excessive.
