Intermatic Pool Timers Editorial Review
The Intermatic T40004RT3 Pool & Spa Control System has garnered feedback from customers who appreciate its solid Construction and compatibility as an almost exact replica of older models. Many users highlighted its effectiveness in managing various pool components, such as filter pumps, vacuum pumps, salt chlorinators, and lights. The inclusion of a timer adds convenience, although some found the unit only came with one timer, necessitating the reuse of old timers in certain setups. However, there were notable concerns regarding quality control. Some users reported issues with the timer mechanism not functioning correctly upon installation, often exacerbated by structural flaws like bent brackets or loose components. One customer even noted a recurring issue with the door latch design, which allows moisture to infiltrate the unit, leading to internal deterioration over time. Despite these drawbacks, many still classified the unit as a recommendable option, mainly focusing on its overall functionality and design as an exact match for previous models, making the transition easier for those replacing outdated systems. ###
