Codemasters Games Editorial Review
**** "Turning Point: Fall of Liberty" offers players an intriguing alternate-reality take on World War II, where Germany invades the USA. The game unfolds through the perspective of a Construction worker turned resistance fighter, adding a unique narrative twist that many players found compelling. Despite initial skepticism, several reviews highlight the game's charm and worthy gameplay, suggesting it can serve as a hidden gem for those willing to look deeper. Players have noted that the game’s graphics may not stand out, particularly when compared to newer titles, but with minor adjustments to resolution and settings, they're deemed adequate for maintaining player interest. The weapon variety, including classics like the Thompson submachine gun and scoped rifles, adds to the game's immersive experience. Players were also fond of the scenario maps showcasing detailed environments such as New York, Washington D.C., and London. While there are commendations regarding the gameplay mechanics—like the grapple system that allows players to interact with enemies in varied and creative ways—the game does experience some limitations, such as a short length that leaves players wanting more. The fixed paths in scenarios do require players to follow certain routes, which could feel restrictive to some. Despite mixed feelings about installation issues on certain systems, many found "Turning Point: Fall of Liberty" to be engaging and enjoyable. Gamers looking for an inexpensive title that provides an interesting story and decent mechanics may find that this game meets their expectations, even if it doesn't deliver a groundbreaking experience. **
