Invented by Henkel as a revolutionary method to positively lock and seal threaded fasteners, Loctite threadlocker adhesives are used in a wide range of applications from delicate fuel injection components to heavy-duty transmission and engine assemblies. Specified by automotive OEM's and approved for use on factory assembly lines, threadlockers work by filling the spaces between threads. The result is a secure, one-piece assembly that will not loosen under stress. Won’t Drip, Leak or Melt! Perfect For Overhead Applications These convenient and portable products will not leak or drip when carried in a pocket, stored in a toolbox or used in an overhead application. The sticks are designed and as easy to use as Henkel’s well-known Pritt Sticks for consumers. Loctite 511537 threadlocker sticks deliver the same proven performance as the well-known liquid Loctite threadlockers: they secure threaded assemblies, fill gaps between threads, and prevent loosening, leaks and corrosion. Removable with Hand Tools Loctite 511537 High Strength Red Threadlocker Stick is applied to a threaded fastener and can be disassembled using applied heat and hand tools. This anaerobic adhesive is great for automotive and other applications where resistance to heavy shock, vibration and stress levels is required; such as air tools, cylinder block bolts, ring gear bolts, transmission shaft bolts & more.
