Answer: I'm afraid that you'll have to look at the required specification of your engine, and make sure that the oil meets or exceeds that spec. -

Answer: I don't know, but Castrol's website should tell you what oil to use. Also, check what the manual recommends. Hope this helps. -

Does this oil have detergent? My TS50 X has a wet clutch.
Answer: Hi, yes, it has detergents, as modern oils pretty much all do. What you need is an oil that meets the JASO MA or MA2 specs (like this does) as it has the correct additives for a wet clutch. Detergents don't affect the clutch. -

Is this motorcycle oil semi synthetic?
Answer: This is part-synthetic (so semi-synthetic). If you look closely on the back of this bottle, it states this. Not sure why some have replied it's fully-synthetic, when it clearly not? -

My oil appears to be red. Is this consistent with this particular oil?
Answer: It's completely normal, nothing to worry about. A lot of synthetic oils have a red tint to them, some more than others. I kind of liked it because it looks cleaner in the oil sight glass, but it goes brown after a few hundred miles of running.
