cpt-auo-37 Editorial Review
Sonic The Hedgehog 2 [DVD] offers an entertaining cinematic adventure as it continues the story of Sonic and introduces the red echidna, Knuckles. The film is praised for its impressive animation and engaging humor that appeals to both young audiences and long-time fans of the video game. Critics highlight Jim Carrey's outstanding performance as Dr. Robotnik, although some suggest that certain comedic segments, like the Hawaiian wedding, felt unnecessary. Nevertheless, the movie successfully merges nostalgia with modern storytelling, making it a recommended watch for both families and gamers. The film leaves viewers excited for a potential sequel, ensuring the legacy of Sonic continues.
