Can i use this on an alto horn?
Answer: For the Alto Horn you'll want the bass trombone practice mute, DW5528. You can find out more about all alto horn products by downloading the Denis Wick App. -
Question:
Can this be used for baritone?
Answer: I do not believe this can be used for a baritone trumpet or a baritone horn. Would probably be too small. -
Question:
is this for a Bb trumpet?
Answer: C or Bb flat trumpet, although tuned in the two different keys ( the C is concert and the Bb is trasnposing) are the same as regards mutes. -
Question:
Will this work for a b flat trumpet? Buying for a kid I’m sponsoring know nothing about trumpets.
Answer: Yes it will work with a b flat trumpet, I bought this for my son who plays a b flat trumpet to use in brass band. -
Question:
Can I use this on an alto horn ?
Answer: No. An alto horn will need a larger mute than a trumpet mute. Try looking for alto horn mutes, and check out some web forums for British brass banding - I'm sure someone there has discussed which mutes fit Eb alto horns (maybe an alto trombone mute will fit) -
Question:
Will this mute work on a Mellophone?
Answer: No this will not fit a Mellophone. Mellophone bells are tricky to fit, but I have found several Tenor Trombone mutes fit my personal Yamaha 204 mello. -
Question:
Can you remove the stem on this
Answer: The cup is removeable, which makes it a straight mute.
