Answer: It depends on whether you are prepared for a purely manual machine. The length of coffee grind takes a little time to get right and may need alteration for different coffee beans, the brew time may need altering to suit your taste. This is a good machine but does require far more work than say a pod machine. -

What do you use to turn on the wand to heat up your milk? And how do you use the press for the coffee beans?
Answer: For heating milk, you have a handle for the pipe that takes about 10 seconds to heat up. For the coffee beans, there are adjustable handles on the front and side of the machine. These options are not on the menu screen. -

Answer: You will have to clean out coffee and lock down hopper security lock, then it should work. If there is coffee stuck, it will prevent it from locking properly. -

Answer: The Sage SES878 Barista Pro uses a 54mm tamper. -

Answer: No, the bean hopper for the Sage SES878 Barista Pro is not compatible with the BES875 Barista Express.
