Answer: No, there is no guidance on bat species or using the frequency control. -

Any advice on using this product?
Answer: It works insofar as it allows you to hear bat sonar clicks but is poor in terms of audio quality to distinguish relative frequencies. The frequency control is most sensitive around 40 KHz. -

Is this product worth it?
Answer: It's good value if you've never 'heard' bats before or for showing youngsters. However, if you are looking for better audio quality and more advanced features, it is recommended to buy something more expensive.
