Bosch Routers 06039D5002 Editorial Review
The Bosch Home and Garden 2-in-1 Cordless Trim/Plunge Router has garnered a rather favorable reception among users, particularly among hobbyists and DIY enthusiasts. Users have highlighted its strong performance, compact design, and ease of use, making it a solid choice for anyone looking to tackle routing projects. Many customers noted the excellent quality typical of Bosch products, describing it as a powerful and reliable tool for precision work in routing and plunging applications. Despite its positive aspects, some users experienced a few frustrating issues. The router's mechanism for adjusting depth was criticized for being difficult to use, and the size of the collet was deemed inconvenient, needing replacements to accommodate standard bits. Additionally, the router had a notably tight fit in the plunge base, posing challenges during setup. Although the lack of accessories and compatible parts was a concern for some Consumers, creative users are finding ways to adapt, such as making custom bases for universal tools. Overall, while the Bosch AdvancedTrimRouter 18V-8 is praised for its performance and efficiency, potential buyers should weigh these Pros against the reported Cons, particularly regarding its fitting and accessory availability. **
